Talk about what you enjoy doing in your free time. Many hobby phrases use spielen (play) or machen (do) with the activity.

How to use these words
Use spielen with instruments and games (Gitarre spielen, Schach spielen). Use gehen with activities ending in -en: schwimmen, joggen, tanzen.
